The Aus Prix is Australia’s most prestigious classical ballet competition, created for exceptional dancers aspiring to a professional career. Following a national and international audition process, selected dancers are invited to Melbourne for an exclusive 5 day experience combining elite training, professional coaching and competition. Throughout the event, dancers work alongside internationally respected teachers and adjudicators, receiving valuable feedback while competing for major cash prizes, scholarships and career opportunities. Whether your goal is a professional ballet school, international training or a Summer or Winter School experience, The Aus Prix provides an environment where excellence is recognised and potential is rewarded. The Experience Selected Semi Finalists receive: Entry into The Aus Prix is by audition only. Applicants must submit an online audition consisting of one Classical Ballet, Repertoire, Neo Classical, Demi Character or Lyrical solo. This can be filmed on stage or in a studio, with or without costume. Successful applicants are invited to attend Melbourne as Semi Finalists.
